Click

Click is a self-made zine focusing on FINTA*-people in the climbing world. The idea grew out of the desire to see and read more about FINTA*-people and their climbing experience.

FINTA* stands for Female, Inter, Non-binary, Trans and Agender. The * represents all genders that are not displayed in the FINTA acronym, excluding cisgender men. While there are some amazing FINTA* climbers out there pushing grades and inclusion, FINTA*-people are still underrepresented in climbing media. This Zine is here to highlight FINTA* stories and contribute to more representation of FINTA*-people. Of course, it can never cover all aspects of being FINTA* in the climbing world, but:

Not trying is not an option.

This zine consists of 36 pages. All photos featured in the Zine were shot on Canon AE1 on 35mm film. Since one roll of film only has a maximum of 36 photos, I learned to value each photo more. They all show a fraction of a moment I got to experience with some wonderful people. Alongside the photos, you can read articles giving even more insight into the FINTA* climbing experience.
